The Republican Specialized Scientific – Practical Medical Center of Cardiology in Tashkent has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first hospital in Uzbekistan to receive international accreditation. This landmark achievement represents a major step forward in strengthening the country’s healthcare system and aligning it with internationally recognized standards of safety and patient centered care.
The accreditation confirms the Center’s commitment to delivering high quality cardiovascular services in accordance with rigorous international benchmarks. It reflects the institution’s strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuously improving care pathways, supported by well structured governance and a culture of quality improvement across all levels of care.
The onsite assessment was conducted from April 27 to April 30, 2026, by a team of international assessors from Germany and Greece. During the visit, the assessors carried out a comprehensive review of clinical workflows, infrastructure, documentation systems, and quality management practices, along with discussions with medical and administrative staff.
By becoming the first institution in Uzbekistan to earn Temos accreditation, the Cardiology Center sets a new benchmark for excellence in cardiac care and reinforces its position as a leading center for advanced medical treatment in the region.
