Medical Associates Hospital, St. Joseph, Trinidad and Tobago, has received reaccreditation for Quality in Medical Care following a comprehensive assessment of its clinical and operational systems.
The reaccreditation process included an onsite evaluation of the hospital’s patient safety standards, quality of care, governance structures, and continuous improvement practices. An international team of assessors from Germany and India conducted the onsite evaluation, reviewing hospital services, procedures, and quality management systems against established international benchmarks.
The process covered multiple departments and service areas across the hospital and formed part of a structured evaluation of overall healthcare delivery standards. It also included a review of supporting documentation and operational workflows to ensure consistency in service delivery across all areas.
The reaccreditation recognizes the hospital’s continued adherence to defined quality requirements and its ongoing participation in external quality assessment processes. Medical Associates Hospital will continue its focus on maintaining and further improving standards of care within its operations in Trinidad and Tobago.
