On October 21, 2026, Temos International GmbH and China Quality Certification Centre Co., Ltd. (CQC) signed a strategic partnership agreement in Medical Tourism Excellence accreditation at the historic City Hall (Rathaus) in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. Representatives of the China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA) attended the signing ceremony as witnesses.
With China continuing to advance its Healthy China 2030 strategy and expand health cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese healthcare institutions are increasingly willing and able to welcome international patients. In this context, internationally recognized credentials for healthcare services and quality play an important role in building mutual trust between international organizations and the Chinese healthcare market. They help Chinese healthcare providers expand their international reach while giving patients seeking cross border care a clearer and more reliable basis for choosing where to receive care.
The partnership will begin with accreditation and training. Temos and CQC will jointly conduct Medical Tourism Excellence accreditation in China and work together to roll out Temos Academy training in international healthcare business. Building on these initiatives, the two organizations will deepen their cooperation on international standards in healthcare related fields, helping Chinese healthcare institutions compete in the international healthcare market in a more standardized way.
By combining CQC’s extensive experience in quality services and nationwide network with Temos’ international expertise in healthcare accreditation, this partnership marks an important step toward strengthening international healthcare cooperation, developing professional expertise, and supporting the continued development of medical tourism excellence in China.
