An associate professor at the Institute of Environmental Hygiene at the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), he is a dedicated public health professional with extensive teaching and research experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in preventive medicine from the Tashkent Second State Medical Institute (1999–2005) and a master's degree in food hygiene from the Tashkent Medical Academy (2005–2007). He continued his academic career as a DSc researcher at the Tashkent Medical Academy (2014–2016) and a PhD in preventive medicine from Korea University (2017–2022) in Seoul, South Korea.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his professional versatility by holding important positions in public health and academic institutions. He began his career as a sanitary doctor at the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the city of Tashkent (2002–2005) and continued his career at the Republican Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance (2007–2012). As a senior specialist at the Uzbek Ministry of Health (2012–2014), he actively participated in the accreditation processes of medical organizations and gained valuable experience in ensuring high-quality healthcare services and compliance with regulatory standards. He has extensive knowledge in capacity building for public health research and strategies, including epidemiological surveillance, coordination of rapid responses to disease outbreaks, and evaluation of the effectiveness of public health measures.
