Temos International and Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) officially launched the Joint Medical Tourism Accreditation Program on 7 May 2026 at International Medical Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The launch marks a significant step toward advancing healthcare quality, patient safety, and excellence in medical tourism services across the Kingdom.
The ceremony brought together key healthcare leaders, including Dr. Walid Ahmed Fitaihi, Founder and CEO of International Medical Center, Dr. Salem Abdullah Alwahabi, Director General of CBAHI, and Dr. Claudia Mika, CEO of Temos International, alongside international experts and healthcare stakeholders.
As part of this milestone initiative, International Medical Center became the first healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia to begin the joint accreditation journey, highlighting its commitment to enhancing international patient services and healthcare excellence.
The program supports Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a leading global destination for medical tourism in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. Through this partnership, CBAHI and Temos aim to strengthen healthcare governance, elevate international patient care standards, and promote sustainable excellence in medical tourism services.
