We are pleased to introduce Dr. Ricardo Silva, who has recently taken on the role of Temos Regional Office Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean. Dr. Silva is the founder and managing member of Comet Surfer LLC, a healthcare consultancy based in Orlando, Florida.
With more than 25 years of experience in health technology management and clinical engineering, Dr. Silva has worked with hospitals, universities, health systems, and ministries of health across the region. His expertise includes medical device management, digital health, quality systems, and strategic advisory for healthcare organizations.
Dr. Silva has collaborated with ministries of health in Venezuela and Ecuador and has participated in projects with international organizations including the World Health Organization, the Pan American Health Organization, and ECLAC. He also maintains strong professional connections with universities, hospitals, clinical engineering societies, and global healthcare networks throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Silva brings extensive regional knowledge and international expertise. Temos is very pleased to welcome Dr. Silva in this role and is confident that his experience and strong regional network will further strengthen Temos activities and partnerships across Latin America and the Caribbean.
