Temos is pleased to welcome Dr. Kun Zhang as the new Regional Office Representative in China. In this role he will help support healthcare organizations in the region on their journey toward quality, safety and service excellence, bringing local expertise to the global work of international accreditation and healthcare improvement.
Dr. Zhang is a globally trained medical professional and widely recognized expert in hospital management, health system strategy and operational excellence, with more than 25 years of experience in China’s healthcare sector. He holds a Doctor of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and currently serves in a leadership role at the Hospital Management Institute of Peking University First Hospital.
Throughout his distinguished career Dr. Zhang has held leadership roles with major international consultancies, including McKinsey & Company and Accenture’s China Healthcare practice, and was part of the founding team of China Resources Healthcare. He has also played a key role in advancing digital health innovation and has served in executive roles within leading hospital groups.
His work bridges global strategic consulting with local operational governance and focuses on strengthening healthcare management frameworks, fostering international collaboration and elevating strategic and operational standards in healthcare institutions.
